"Perpetual Predator Cycle"

In this artwork, I wish to recognize the importance of predators in keeping ecosystems in balance over the past tens of thousands of years and the need for their continued acknowledgement and protection.

North American large predators play an integral role in the control of prey animal populations.  Unfortunately, when prey animal popuations fall below sustainable numbers, due to habitat loss, vehicle collisions, over hunting, etc., many people erroneously point to predators as "the problem".
