Oil Paintings -National Parks
Using small, plein air watercolour paintings and photos as references, these much larger oil paintings took on a grandeur, expressive of the size of the mountains. The shapes are somewhat idealized to more elemental forms. The overlapping of the many flattened forms creates a constructed space.
